MotoeXotica Classic Cars is pleased to present this handsome lead sled 1959 Pontiac Bonneville custom coupe. This is a award winning custom that was featured in the November issue of 2005 CUSTOM RODDER magazine. This is one of the two high quality customs that we recently purchased the widow of the owner who recently sold from their collection. This stylish Pontiac custom started with a one owner low mileage coupe and was the owners ninth Bonneville who really had the experience to find a top example for his new custom.

Finished in a brilliant show quality PPG Inferno Red Pearl with a hint of ghost flames shows extremely well. The chrome front bumper has been modified to work well and compliment the front grill from a 1960 Mercury and lower facial front pan from a 1960 Oldsmobile. A custom rear pan has been rolled to fit a recessed license plate holder and to compliment the front a smaller version of the ’60 Mercury grill panel for the rear. The rear fins have been frenched and trimmed forward to match the contour of the C pillar. The rear tail lights are from a period Cadillac and look outstanding All the trim and door handles has been removed and the addition of the Lakes pipes below the rockers complete the sled look.

Inside, a period use of many yards of rich White and Champagne Pearl vinyl appear throughout the entire interior. Tastefully covering all the soft surfaces from the dashboard back to the package tray. In fact, if you look in the rear window, all the rolls line up perfectly all the way to the dashboard, including the steering wheel. If you pop the deck lid even the trunk inserts and spare tire receive the same upholstery. An exterior matching custom center console houses the gauges and controls for the front and rear Air Ride Technologies air ride system and looks fantastic. The heater and air conditioning along with the original gauges are present, with the tasteful addition of Equss gauges (volt, water and oil temperature) mounted under the dash. The Super Deluxe radio and steering wheel is a beautiful custom original that completes the interior.

This custom Bonneville comes equipped with the chrome accessorized 389cid V8 engine fed by Pontiac tri-power induction, three 2-barrel carburetors. This engine is kept cool by a custom aluminum radiator and braided plumbing. Power is transferred to the wheels a Hydra-Matic 4 speed automatic transmission. Driver assist features include power steering and power brakes. The 15-inch American Racing polished alloys with Coker Classic wide whitewalls complete the look.

This Bonneville’s modifications are so well executed it looks deceptively unmodified. So why get lost in a sea of Chevy and Fords at your next show?, this custom big bodied Bonneville is sure to turn heads! GET OUT AND DRIVE!!!

Current mileage on the odometer shows 82,300 it is sold as is and is mileage exempt. The car is being sold on a clean & clear title.
