Being sold as-is, by the owner, with a free and clear Pennsylvania title. Pontiac 400 cubic inch V8 with 3-Speed Automatic transmission. Rochester Quadrajet 4-barrel carburetor #7041264. Factory A/C!
Exterior body, paint and trim are showing some light wear due to age but the car still cleans up well and looks nice when washed and waxed. The chrome has some pitting but still looks nice when cleaned up using a chrome polish. This car is an amazing candidate for restoration OR can simply be detailed and used as-is.
Inside, you would be hard pressed to find a nicer interior on an original 45 year old car. The dashboard, door panels, head liner and carpet look great! There are some small tears in the passenger front seat, and more noticeable tears in the driver seat.
This car was regularly started, run and driven short distances until roughly one year ago. The only reason I stopped running the car was due to a damaged battery cable that needs to be replaced and unfortunately I do not have a convenient place to make the simple repair needed to get the car back in running condition. This was always a strong running, powerful car that started with ease and sounded and drove great. Of course, it is possible that due to sitting for an extended period of time some additional work may be required and you should expect to have to check common wear items like spark plugs, brakes, fluids, etc.
The wheel well trim has been removed by a previous owner, and three of the four pieces of trim are stored in the trunk.
There is some rust visible in the wheel wells, rockers and doors but it is repairable.
A previous owner had some body work done (presumably for rust repair) and there are patch panels at the rear outer edge of the rear wheel wells.
Pick-up and/or delivery of the vehicle is the responsibility of the buyer but I am willing to assist however I can with loading this car onto a trailer.
Feel free to ask questions, and I will respond as soon as possible. If you live in the Pittsburgh, PA area and would like to see the car in-person, please let me know.
Thank you for looking, and Happy Bidding!
