Description

1981 Trans AM. It has allot of Great things going for it. This is a one owner 61,000 mile Super Solid Body Car. There are no rust spots on this car. All solid metal. It has been swapped out from the 4.9L to a 5.3L LM7 EFI motor. Motor came out of a Chevy Avalanche with 52000 miles. It runs excellent. Fires right up. The motor has a ton of great parts including MSD Atomic EFI plus the MSD Tuner. MSD Intake. MSD Ignition. New Aluminum Radiator. just for starters. The car has also been updated in the following areas. New Rims, trim rings and tires. New suspension, Coil Springs, Bushings, Sway bar links, New shocks all around. All new Brakes. New Brake Master and Booster. Complete new 2.5" stainless exhaust with X-pipe. Car has Headers too. The car also has a 700R-4 transmission. The transmission needs a new Torque Converter. It is making some noise. I wouldn't drive it until it is replaced and I suggest you don't either until it is fixed. All the windows/glass is good. No cracks or dings. Power windows go up and down too. The metal trim for around the windows is all there but will need some polishing or painting. The interior is all there. It looks great too. The seats don't have any tears or rips at all. The dash is all complete. No missing parts. It needs a headliner. The carpet is in great shape and the floors are solid as a rock. The lights work. The gauges are not hooked up. There is a new Gas Tank and straps. A new sending unit also, There is a new Electric Fuel Pump also. This car needs a new Paint Job, a torque converter and some gauges hooked up. Then you will have a really nice Trans Am worth a lot of Money. The guy we got this car from spent a Ton of Money on this car. These cars with rust and rot everywhere go for 8K. Look at the Junk out there you can see them all over Craigslist and ebay. This is the car you want to find. The one where all the hard and expensive work is already done. Original Build Sheet, Manual and Service Repair Guide included. Even the original Jack and Spare tire are still in the rust free trunk. Best Offers will be considered. Money Talks. text or email 5164441765
