Description

1969 Pontiac GTO Judge. The Judge was built in March, 1969 at the Baltimore, MD plant and delivered to Miller Pontiac of Fremont, OH a week later. A full restoration was performed in 2009.It's wearing it's original color Code #52 Matador Red paint with Code #58 black bucket seat interior. Power is supplied by a correct but non matching Baltimore built Code WS 400 ci Ram Air III engine #29B159068 that's been with it since before 1977 when I bought it for the first time; the original rebuilt M-20 Muncie 4 speed transmission with a Hurst T-Handle shifter; Rochester Quadrajet 800 cfm carb; original Intake Manifold; original heads; original D-Port Exhaust Manifolds; Rally II wheels; and original rebuilt 3.55 Safe-T-Track rear axle. The driving comfort is provided by Power Steering, Power Front Disc brakes, Soft Ray glass, and AM radio. The Judge runs, drives and brakes as good as it looks.
During the restoration the decals were changed from the original Black-YELLOW-Red to Black-WHITE-Red, the headlights were converted to the hidden style instead of the original fixed style, and the gage package was upgraded to a hood tach instead of the dash tach. The speedometer, tach, gages, wipers and lights all work fine; the odometer, radio (not hooked up to the antenna lead), and horn don't.
The Judges biggest sin is the flash rust on the bare metal, mostly under the hood. The metal wasn't sealed or painted after the restoration and a good detailing would correct most of it. It should grade no lower than a solid #2 condition as rated by Hagerty.com, it's a consistent trophy winner with several 'Best of Show' for fun, and all PHS documents showing it's a real Judge are included. I encourage you to get a set from PHS-Online.com for added security and peace of mind. The Judge is driven about 1,000 miles a year and is a great car at a very fair price. Please ask if you have any questions.
