Description

I have been having problems receiving emails through Ebay. Please text me at 253 eight nine six 2624 with any questions or more pictures.
True 66 2+2 convertible in need of restoration. Engine incomplete and NOT original however the engine is a 66 421 coded "YH" which, according to the PHS documentation, is what the car had originally. this is a 4bbl engine, not a tripower. The cylinders appear to be standard bore as STD is stamped on the pistons.and there is a very mild bore ridge. The engine is MISSING: timing cover, pulleys, exhaust manifolds, windage tray, camshaft and valley pan.(Distributor included though not pictured). The heads are 092, but one has cracked guides. (the valves and springs are included though not pictured. The transmission (th400) and rear are original (NOT a posi rear).
The body is fairly good. the floor pan was replaced with a full piece from a doner verhicle. The original floor pan was not that bad, but I found the original one (from a 67 GP convertible) that was used. It is installed very well, not hacked in.
The trunk floor has some rust but I have a rust free PARTIAL pan. The quarter panels arent real badly rusted. The structual metal behind the quarter panels is very nice. The trunk lid and rear bumper are is great shape but car was hit in right rear at one time and trunk lid gap is tight on right side.
The metal dash board and upper cowl panel was replaced as the previous owner installed an insanely large stereo system with speaker holes actually cut into the cowling section! Its very nice now.
The frame is excellent, not visual bends and and absolutely no rust other than normal surface rust. The car came fro California originally.
The front fenders, hood, and drivers door were replaced with Bonneville parts. I dont know why..the previous owner bought the car in 1978 and he claimed it was that way when he bought it. The right front fend has bad rust, the left fender is in very good condition. the drivers door has some rust in the lower front corner, but not real bad. the passenger door is very solid and original.
The top frame is missing the cloth and ALL THE POWER TOP PARTS ARE MISSING!! The top works manually and in good shape except for the front header. Its badly rusted. The windshield frame is very nice. I have the windshield, but it has a crack in it. All the side glass is there, but the top back window is missing.
The car is mostly complete though some parts arent pictured. If there is any question about whats here and what is not, PLEASE TEXT ME or email. Parts NOT INCLUDED since I done have them are:
-ALL the body side moldings (these are 2+2 only and hard to find)
-fender skirts
-engine parts (mentioned already)
-fender "421" emblems ( I think I have one)
-RH quarter extension
Parts INCLUDED BUT NOT PICTURED are:
-front bumper
-radiator and finger guard with "421" emblem
-hood, latch, grill surround sheetmetal
-shifter
-dash bezel, speedo, gauges, etc.. (in good condition but from a Bonneville as original one was badly modified)
-Blower assy. inside and out,
-front seats, wiper linkage and motor
-lots of missilanious parts!
I have a WA state title however its not in my name, it is signed off and ready to be transfered. and comes with a bill of sale when I bought it and ill provide a bill of sale too.
