Description

Overall Description:
1965 Pontiac Lemans - 1 owner car only 59k original miles!! Virtually unmolested!!! Some might consider this a survivor type car. Vehicle was originally purchased back in 1965 by a women who owned it up until a little of a month ago! This car has NEVER been up for sale till now!! It's is all original number matching etc except for the carburetor which looks to be an older carter AFB 650 cfm. Please read on.
ENGINE/TRANS:
The lemans is powered by a Pontiac 326 with 4 barrel intake & carter AFB carburetor (vintage but not original) that's been reconditioned (59K original miles). Automatic 2 speed power glide transmission, Factory 2 link rear.
EXTERIOR:As mentioned previously the exterior is about a 7/10 due to its 1 repaint approximately 15 years ago, its slight rust bubbling on lower front and rear window lips as well as a very small section of the driver rear quarter (size of a baseball), none of it is serious, however one should fix in the future, as of now it is very superficial and not rusted through. The vehicle has very nice chrome bumpers, stainless and original hubcaps that were born with the car! The glass all around is also nice, there is one small chip on the front windshield below eye level so its not distracting. windshield wiper blades are new and work in case you drive it in the rain. THIS CAR IS A DRIVER!!

INTERIOR:

Interior is all original with exception of factory correct black loop carpeting and additional sound deadening insulation / heat shielding that was added a few weeks ago. Original carpet was slightly faded and had a little wear near the gas pedal where the owners high heels dug into it. Seats, door panels, headliner, dash look very nice. There are no rips or tears. Am radio may work? not really sure as it is not hooked up. Heater blower works, heater hoses not hooked up. Center console is beautiful. Arm rests are solid and nice, seat belts are clean and functional.

ADDITIONAL INFO:

Bottom line, the vehicle starts, runs and drives beautifully. Ready to cruise to car shows! Needs very little work to make perfect. It's ready to enjoy! Exterior is 7/10 and interior is 9/10. Clean California title in my name, registration payed till 2019. The average values of these cars in this condition and provenance are between 19-22k. Perfect ones go for nearly 30k+ right now. You'll probably never see another original unmolested example like this one! I will be listing this vehicle in multiple places and have set a mild reserve price so this vehicle will be easily attainable for even first time aspiring collectors! I reserve the right to cancel this listing should I sell vehicle off of eBay even though I prefer to sell it on ebay and give anyone who is serious a real chance at owning it! This was originally a keeper car for me but I am moving and have to unfortunately downsize and sell this amazing car. I've done my absolute best to describe everything as accurately as possible. Thank you for looking! Again, any questions on particulars please don't hesitate to call me @ 619-606-6699. I will be available locally in San Diego,CA to show the car to anyone who sets up an appointment to preview the vehicle. Thank you!

DISCLAIMER: Car sold as is with no warranty either expressed or implied. I have made every effort to describe/show car as accurately as possible. No refunds on any monies exchanged at time of purchase. Buyer responsible to know everything about car before purchasing. No allowances will be made for oversights of any sort on car. No trades accepted. Again, I reserve the right to cancel this listing should I sell vehicle off of eBay. I will not personally handle shipping of vehicle, this must be handled on your end and I would be happy to coordinate it with you to any where in the continentalU.S. other territories would need to be considered.

ON A SIDE NOTE:

Anyone into GM vehicles - Chevrolet, Buick, Cadillac, GMC should consider a classic Pontiac for their next purchase! They clone these to GTO's with little effort as they are already the same car. Just need to add the GTO hood, some badging, GTO bumpers etc. However the real value in the car is keeping it a lemans and keeping it original as there are so few left. Do your research and check out performance Pontiac builds etc. These cars were only made in this style for a few years thanks to John Delorean. They were ahead of their time!!
