Description

'69 Firebird 350 2bbl Automatic
I took this car as a trade from one of our employees who worked in our restoration business about 8 yrs ago.
We put new paint on it somewhere around then which is in very good "driver condition."
I apologize for the shadows and sun glare in some of the pictures but hopefully you can see that the paint and body are very nice (and reflective.)
This car will make someone a very respectable, nice, fun car to drive, please do not expect a "show car" as I am not expecting it to bring $30-60,000 as some do!!!
Seat covering and interior was replaced with new where needed and, as you can see, is very good. Door panels are good, carpet has a few weak spots but is in overall good condition other than some wear (wear, not holes) in the rear driver side foot well and a couple loose spots such as near one of the seat belt mounts. Carpet is fine as-is, but with new carpet the interior could be near perfect.
Dash is good and not cracked, original radio still in its spot, aftermarket (old) FM added under dash as shown and the 8 track is still there but haven't used it so unsure whether it works. ( I don't have any 8 track tapes)
Power steering, power brakes car but no AC. Fuel tank was replaced at the time of paint.
350 Pontiac with 2bbl carb 265 hp engine code YE runs well but has older gas due to storage. Believe to be original but haven't checked for the partial VIN stamp on the block.
Car has been stored in heated and cooled garage since updating earlier this decade.
Glass is all good, Tires are older age but little use on them.
The body was in VERY good shape prior to our body/paint job and needed very little before we did the paint work.
Floors are good, trunk is good. Trunk is a little hard to open probably due to the newer seals, or possibly adjustment of the latch. Doors/hood close as they should
Doors/windows also had new seals installed where needed.
Standard older dual exhaust is in good shape.
There was a fresh drip from the transmission shifter/selector shaft seal when I checked under the car probably from sitting, and some old oil, didn't look fresh, on the upper oil pan possibly from the pan gasket but not sure, again it wasn't fresh and hard to tell but wanted to disclose.
We did this project with the intention to keep the car and pass it down to one of my kids as they got older. I got out of the car business a few years back and just kept too many. He has decided that he'd rather have a different car I have saved so I have decided to offer this 69 for sale.
This car has also been offered for sale locally so I reserve the right to end this auction early.
If you are close to central Nebraska you are welcome to come and look.
Please understand what you are bidding on. This is a nice driver but has been stored for years, and even though the garage has been heated and cooled, you will likely need to do some maintenance due to storage and if you buy this car I ask that you expect that.
You must PAY IN FULL within 48 hours of the end of the auction by either CASH IN PERSON or by BANK WIRE TRANSFER without exception, and you must pick up the car within 14 days as well. I will transfer to you a clear Nebraska Title upon full payment.
Shipping is NOT INCLUDED and will be the responsibility of the buyer to arrange and pay for.
Please only bid if you are agreeing with and and are capable of paying as shown above. I have described the vehicle well and noted any potential issues I am aware of but again, it's been stored and additionally, its 49 years old, so please be realistic in your expectations. Old mechanical things do leak and do break. If you should require more specific pictures and you are serious please ask.THANKS FOR LOOKING !!!
