1972 PONTIAC FIREBIRD TRANS AM CLONE

Description

This is a 1972 pontiac firebird trans am clone.It has a pontiac 400 motor with a 4 barrel carb and intake.It has a turbo 400 automatic transmission.It has 10 bolt 8.5 positraction rear end with 3:43 gears.It has new 2 1/2 inch aluminumized true dual exhaust with H pipe with flow master mufflers.The motor came with the car and was told it had a fresh rebuild but thats all I know about it.Does run good.It has new tires on factory honeycomb wheels but the wheels are pitted bad on the metal part behind the trim rings.The wheels have new center caps but they are cracked.The wheels are balanced and do not leak but are just old repainted wheels.It has a new rear chrome bumper and new chrome taillight bezels.It has new frame rails installed which cost me alot to have installed.New quarter panels,new trunk pan, new trunk drop offs and new tail panel.Floor pans have patch panels installed and floors are solid.Inner fenders behind new quarter panels were repaired with inner fenders from a donor car.It has all new brake and gas lines,New rubber brake hoses.New emergency brake cables front to back.New gas tank and sending unit.New shocks and brake master cyclinder and brakes to include shoes,pads,calipers,wheel cyclinders,and rotors.Everything under the car has been sanded and painted.Windshield and back glass have been removed and the channels sanded and painted.Windshield and back glass both have new seals.Everything under the hood has been sanded and painted.It has a new brass and copper 4 core radiator.New radiator support bushings.It has new front turn signals and valance panel and new front spoiler.The dash is original with no cracks.The seats have been recovered and dyed black.They were blue.New headliner and carpet.New package tray.All the gauges work even the clock.It has the factory radio but it comes and is hard to hear.The 8 track player works but does not sound very good.The doors have new window felts but most other seals will need replaced after it is painted.The exterior will need to be stripped to bare metal and dents and dings worked out.Most body panels will need to be aligned.The exterior was multicolor and has rattle can flat black sprayed over the old paint and dirt just so it doesn t look so ugly going down the road.Best to come see if possible.Runs and drives good.Willing to take offers.For sale locally so may end at anytime
