1979 Pontiac Firebird Trans AMBlack/Gold with Black deluxe interior403 Olds 6.6 liter engine350 TH Transmission3 speed automaticFactory ACVIN 2W87K9N127716
I purchased this car here in Georgia almost 2 years ago from a Dodge dealer that had a personal classic car collection. It had been restored years previously, so I refreshed it with many original improvements.I decided to keep it as original as possible, and kept everything I replaced (i.e. original steering wheel had a crack). Factory Black on Black, with deluxe interior.
Left as original as possible
All gauges and lights work. Garage kept, I've put only 400 miles on it since purchase. The odometer shows 15555 but I do not know the mileage. It's rust free with one of the cleanest under carriages I've seen. This engine was just pulled out and I had all the seals replaced, new oil pan (this requires the engine to be pulled). The heads were machined by an outside shop. I had the Rochester Quadra-Jet carburetor rebuilt from a shop out in California. Leak test values available.Newly rebuilt rear end, now at 3.08 for better drivability.I have all the receipts, two custom shops in Atlanta performed the work. I have the PHS documentation. I have the original owner’s manual.I do not have the spare for the car, but I have the original jack with accessory pieces. The seats are in incredile condition for being original.
Took it out tonight in tribute to Burt Reynolds...https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KU7LOZAe0Uw&feature=youtu.be
