Description

You are bidding on a Texas poached Trans Am.Before going any further please note,If you need to ask your wife, mom, girlfriend, grandma, dog or cat for permission to buy, please do so before bidding!I will not accept the excuse of your kid bid on it and you were unaware. If you win and any of these apply, you better be prepared to pay a $200 fee for wasting my time. That being said, on to the car.
Body: this car would be an easy driver or restore. This car is very clean. I bet you I have more money into Nos metal on my other one than this will even sell for. So you’re miles and dollars ahead of where I was on my other.Does it have rust, scratches or dents? Please look at the pictures but I will list them here. Has a fresh windshield as well.Rust: drivers side quarter has 4 small patchable spots. Trunk floor has a couple or small patchable spots. No need to replace period. Each fender has a small patchable spot up high and are easy fixes. I have a local guy who is a metal working genius. He would patch and etch prime these spots for only $1,000. No body work as he doesn’t do that. So please keep that in mind. The rest of the car is very clean and may need a sport or two of surface scale spot blasted.
Interior; all there but needs a complete restore. It was a standard interior tuxedo car. ( all white except dash, console and carpet) I do have brand new in the box black carpet should you want it for an additional $120.00. All gauges are there etc.
Wheels, brakes, suspension:Rally wheels are all there but are not 1973 codes. The tires are old and dry rotted. No centers or trim rings.I do have a nice set on my 74 SD T/A that I would sell for an additional $600 from the end bid.Brakes and suspension is all there and condition is unknown as the car has been off the road since 1988 and only seen Michigan a couple months ago.
Engine / transmission:The engine and transmission are NOT original to the car. They are out of a 74 trans am and we’re last ran 1 month ago. The engine was driven on a 10 hour round trip with zero issues. It was actually in a super duty as a driver motor while one was being built. The engine is not hooked up nor does it come with any accessories.I have a few things I can sell you additional like freshly powder coated alternator bracket and a couple pulleys that need redone . I also have a 73 dates radiator and a carb but missing the base plate I’d also sell for additional cash outside of this auction. The car does not have a shaker assembly but I do have one from a 1975 with no back plate in it I’d sell for $450 from air cleaner up.
If there are any details I didn’t cover that you would like to know, please ask.
I require a deposit within 24 hours.I am looking for a super duty intake as well as a 70 firebird shell that is super clean. I am also looking for a super clean 74 firebird.I am a buyer of SD parts so I’d yiu have any please let me know. I will consider them as partial payment.
