IF YOU HAVE INTEREST IN A REAL MUSCLE CAR, THIS COULD BE IT! The real Trans Am is powered by a rebuilt and strong 455 cubic inch engine. Its connected with a good shifting 4 speed manual transmission and a positive traction rear-end. 4 wheel disc brakes, sway bars front and rear and a booming high dollar sound system. IS THIS A REAL TRANS AM? Yes, you can tell if you decode the VIN. HOW IS THE TITLE? I have a clear...title in hand and the VIN is correct, it is signed of correctly. WHAT IS THE HISTORY? We bought the car from a dealer friend near Cincinnati. Can't tell you a lot, the car supposedly came from the south and to a couple of owners up north. The car is not a rust bucket, all the panels look original to me and I see no signs of a accident. HEAD LIGHTS WORK! TAIL LIGHTS WORK! TURN SIGNALS WORK! BRAKE LIGHTS WORK! ADD ON GAUGES WORK! TACHOMETER WORKS! SOUND SYSTEM IS HIGH DOLLAR! It is mostly Alpine and works. HOW IS THE ENGINE? A none original 455 cubic inch that runs very strong. I hear no knocks or rattles and see no blue smoke. Past owner added a dual oil filter system, it is highly detailed. HOW IS THE TRANSMISSION? Its a good shifting 4 speed manual. HOW IS THE PAINT? I consider it a nice, it is a dark mid-night blue. I see no dents or rust bubbles. I do see some touched up marks on the shaker, one tiny ding that did not break the paint, the shine is very good, I do see with a critical eye some touched up chips. The car is straight when I look down the sides. I would consider this a very upper end driver quality. HOW IS THE INTERIOR? Upholstery shop interior, it is nice with no wear. Its a grayish cloth. HOW DOES THE CAR DRIVE? Good to me, it is power steering. HOW DOES THE CAR STOP? To me it stops real good, it is 4 wheel disc and power. No parking brakes. NOTE: Heater core was taken out to make room for the dual oil filters. Past owner was more concerned with power than comfort.
