1983 Pontiac Parisienne Brougham Sedan 305 eng,This is the first year that this car was sold in the US wasCanadian only before, essentially a Caprice with Pontiac trim and Impala tail light cutout with different lenses, These were sold in the US from midway 1983 until 1986 the 85-86 models had the 1981 Bonneville quarters and tail lights, the goo, car runs and drives,registered, and is being used for local errands approx117,000 miles body is good for 33yr old Northeast, car floor and frame good, some rot under battery mount see photos and lower rear quarters have been repaired before I bought it in 2013, the main issues it needs a carb, mixture screws frozen and float problems,running rich, believe carb is original, also oil leak from either intake gasket or timing chain cover, seems to leak when driven, recent starter and exhaust work and fuel pump, do not have time or money to fix originally bought to repair, 2 kids in school, This was the lowest sales year for this approx 17000 for 83 not really a rare antique Just an oddball.
