1986 Pontiac Fiero GT with 41,040 original miles

1986 Pontiac Fiero GT – Metallic Gold with Tan Cloth Interior I am selling one of my Fiero's to help fund a Supercharged Fiero Project. My 1986 GT has 41,040 original miles on it as she sits right now in my ManCave shop in Houston Texas. Always stored inside and lovingly cared for. The paint was redone by the previous owner, as with all 80 vintage cars the clearcoat tended to lift and flake; thus the reason for a reshoot (CarFax Report is clean). The color of the basecoat is the original Pontiac Gold that was used in 1986, the clearcoat has a very slight hint of pearl in it to make the color pop in the sunlight. I have taken a very close-up picture of the nose emblem so you can see the fleck in the paint. The interior is beautiful and very clean. One 1-inch crack in the dash from the speaker corner to the defrost grill. This all stock little gem fires right up and runs very smooth and strong. The engine is the standard '86 GT 2.8 V6 with Multiport Fuel Injection, mated to the stock Muncie 4-Speed Transaxle (mid-engine car). Tires are 95% tread-life, approximately 2 years old (stored indoors on the car). I replaced the clear side "Sail Panels" with tinted Sail Panels (see picture with old Panel removed to depict original car color). The original taillight lenses have slight areas of delamination along the decklid area (common Fiero flaw), I have provided a zoomed in picture for you to see. The air-conditioner has been converted to R134, it blows cold and cycles as it should. Because the car is rarely used (about 200 miles a year for Car Shows), the AC Clutch will start to slip and squeal when it gets hot after cycling a number of times. I will include a new replacement AC Compressor with the car if you want to have it swapped out, or just exchange the Clutch assembly. The body is beautiful and clean. Undercarriage is as expected for a 33 year old 41,000 mile car. I can drive it up on my lift and take some additional photos for email or some other way of posting them (eBay only allowed me to post 24 pictures for some reason).
