1967 Pontiac GTO Project Car real 242
Description
Ok up for bid is one 1967 Pontiac GTO with no motor or transmission, it had a 4-speed which I have the pedals for but in the pictures it has the automatic power brake pedal in it but comes with both . This car is not for fant of heart it needs major body work so if you don’t do metal fab / body work this isn’t the best car for you . Ok with that being said this is a real 242 GTO that came with a 400/auto Posi 10-bolt that is still in the car (just rearend no motor or transmission) it came from the factory with Turol Blue paint, black interior, tinted glass, assembly date is third week of September 1966 in Pontiac Michigan, deluxe seat belts and that’s as far as I got decoding trim tag . This Goat has a clear Colorado title . This GTO looks like it went off the road and hit a tree or post and smashed in the rocker pretty goo, it didn’t touch the frame but will need the rocker assembly replaced. At one point in its life it looks like the passenger rear quarter panel was replaced. The floors are really solid and trunk has small holes in i, no major rust issues in this one . I got this car as a trade in so don’t know much about the history of it . This GTO has a low reserve so bid to win and if you have low to no feedback please call me before placing a bid. This is a great opportunity for someone with the skills to fix . PLEASE call me before you bid so you know exactly what your bidding on . Cheers David at 310-493-8550
