found a shop manual. adding picture. i think it says, car was built in south gate Oakland Ca. and its a streamliner 6. according to the lower ident plate, but the other vin plate decodes out to streamliner 8. who knows?


Rare, only 1200 of this model produced from Jan42 to feb 42 this one is from that period (i was assured) due to outbreak of WWII

Car has been in California. before that arizona, just moved to Washington. rust free!

1942 Pontiac NO BONDO!!!! RUST FREE accept for slight surface rust on roof. it'll sand off. Zero body rot! I HAVE THE PINK SLIP IN HAND. It will runs and drives. great body Dent free. I have to windshield visor. I have 98% of the trim. Built engine 2 years ago then it has sat when dad died. Built 350 4 bolt main. 3/2 carbs on Edlebrock intake aluminum manifold, steel roller rockers gear drive, magneto. 2 3/4” sodium filled titanium intake valves. Heads completely redone. new pistons rods crank. line board crank shaft as well as cam shaft. new cam but not to radical. it idles nicely. Gear drive. Short tube ceramic coated headers. 2” exhaust.roughed in. High torque mini starter chrome 1 wire alternator. pictures to prove motor claims. Rebuilt Turbo 350 trans with shift kit new brakes, wheel cylinders and lines. Master cylinder rebuilt. Headliner is original and looks new. just needs to be finished. 47 grill in it. i only have 1 piece of 42 grill

there are some pictures i have listed of what the motor looked like before the car sat. Dad and I were building this car then he passed away and i just don't have it in me to finish it and I need to buy a 3/4 ton truck soon. selling this to get that.
