Blemishes are all shown close up and under direct sunlight. Blemishes include a couple small dings, as well as a handful of chips scattered about the car. - While the car was originally Capri Gold Metallic, it saw a color change to white at some point. While we do not know exactly when the car was painted, it does look to have been done to a high standard. No dust under the paint, orange peel, tape lines, etc. Black pinstripes are nice and intact, and are stuck on rather than painted on. - Chrome is excellent throughout. Mirror-like, with no oxidation or damage. All the window trim and weatherstripping is very nice. - Glass is clear and crack free. Light lenses are nice with the exception of a couple very thin hairline cracks in the tail light lenses. - Wheels are in great shape. No curb rash or damage, just minor age. BFG Radial TA tires are in great shape as well, with near full tread remaining and no dryness. - Black vinyl top is extremely nice. No discoloring, damage, or real signs of age. Interior: - Again, please defer to the photos and video. Interior is in impressive shape. While there is a burst seam on the passenger’s seat bottom, the driver’s seat and rears look very good. Once more, only very minor signs of age. - Dash is free of any cracking, warping, or discoloration. Wooden face of the cluster is very nice as well, with no hairline cracks or signs of age. There is, however, a hairline crack in the wood around the gear lever. Gauges are all functional, as is the blower, heat, radio, wipers, and all lights and signals. While this car was originally optioned with air conditioning, the components were removed at some point in the car’s life. Odometer reads 81k and change, though the car no longer has the original motor. We are not positive of actual mileage. Under the Hood / Underbody: - Car looks great underneath. Very much structurally sound. No through rust, hardly even any surface rust. Floors are excellent. - Runs and drives very well. The car fires up first turn, idles cool and steady, pulls hard through the gears, shifts smoothly, tracks straight, and brakes straight and effectively. Steering is featherweight. - Engine is not original to the car. It’s a 455 and the casting number dates it between 71-74. Transmission is believed original to the car, the optional TH400 automatic. - While service history is limited, with the only receipts being from a relatively recent leak-check and steering hose replacement, the car will come with the original manual and service booklet with the protecto plate.
