The classic lines and looks on the exterior include a cowl induction hood, stacked... headlights, shiny brightwork, classic GTO grill and badging, Coker Classics 15-inch Red Line Tires and aluminum, powder coated gray inner spoke American Racing, Torque Thrust Wheels. The stated mileage NOT Accurate. THE ENGINE...389 cubic inch, Casting 9778789 = 1965-66 389ci V8, Engine Code WT = 1965 389ci 335HP, Casting Date E285 = May 28, 1965, Engine unit number 564708. It originally came with a 4-barrel carburetor which is in the trunk along with the intake manifold and breather that came with it. The tri-power setup is made up od a factory GM intake with 3 X Rochester 2-barrel carburetors. Some other mentionable components are chrome valve covers, 3 X chrome breather covers, aluminum radiator, power steering, power brakes (rear drum, front disc) and a battery quick disconnect with an additional kill switch in the trunk. The engine compartment is extremely clean and well managed. Any collector or enthusiast would be proud. THE TRANSMISSION... Muncie M21 manual 4-speed, Casting 3846429, 18-065-901-L. The pleasure of shifting gears is aided by a fluid moving transmission and a Hurst shifter in the center console. THE INTERIOR ...is a sight to see. Blue buckets in the front and blue bench in the back (all seating is in exceptional condition including the door panels) and beautiful blue carpet kind of set the tone.
