1986 Pontiac Parisienne six door sedan, Armbruster Stageway, limo, 455 V8,
Description
Howdy Folks, What we have here is a groovy and quite rare 1986 Pontiac Armbruster Stageway six door sedan. Some may consider it a limo. However the seats are set up like a sedan. It has 40,000 miles on the car and about 10,000 on the engine.
The original engine was a Oldsmobile 307. It had about 30,000 miles on it when I replaced it with a 1969 Oldsmobile 455 V8 that was rebuilt with aluminum heads and intake for this car. The original engine runs fine and I still have it. I just wanted more power going down the road. We have driven this car to Hilton Head Island many times. The last two times with the 455. Same gas milage as the old engine. It really does not work hard. It was a real pleasure. Stayed in over drive going up most of the hills. It will take off like a scared rabbit.
It was a rust free car when I bought it. I repainted orange, the original color was silver. The top is original. The interior is original. Both in good shape. Not perfect but good. The instruments work and the lenses are clear. It has front and rear air conditioning that blows nice and cold. Heat works too.
It has a few up grades inside. AM FM CD USB memory card equipped. It also has a back up camera and a monitor in the mirror. The mirror is also a blue tooth phone, and has navigation built into it. It has full gauges, oil pressure, Temperature, volt meter, fuel and speedo. I added the oil, temp, volt meters. The engine has custom serpentine belt system, aluminum radiator with dual fans, timer for fans. They stay on for three minutes after you turn off the car to keep the engine compartment cool. It runs cool even in 90 degree day, in stop and go traffic.
It drives great, its very powerful, fast, comfortable, fun to drive. Great chrome, and moldings. Good size trunk, trailer hitch. Please ask questions before you bid. Its located in Holland New York near Buffalo. It was not driven in the winter. Your welcome to see it in person.
I would sell it for less with out the 455 and associated parts. A lot the value is the engine. You would have to contact me for the details on that.
The car is to be picked up with in three weeks of auctions end. PayPal $500 deposit. Balance cash in person or check. Check must clear my bank before it can leave.
