You are bidding on well taken care of survivor, 1981 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am last year of this legendary body style!!!! It has the Legendary 6.5 Liter 396 Big Block V8, with a manual Richmond 5 speed standard transmission. Actual mileage on the body is unknown, less than 20k miles on the Big Block 396, which was rebuilt by a reputable engine builder here in TX. All supporting modifications such as performance exhaust, hooker headers, Lunati 292 cam, TRW forged pistons, roller rockers, ported and polished heads, Lakewood bell housing, high performance clutch and pressure plate, sub frame connectors, positive trac rear end, carburetor, Intake, freshened braking system, power steering, new tires, etc were properly installed. Interior is in good condition. It includes the bucket seats with the Hurst shifter. Upgraded stereo system which sounds amazing as well. Nice clean carpet. Body along with trim in good shape does have a few spots of surface rust and bubbling in areas. Frame is solid. Car holds the road great @ 65mph. All the metal seems to be in good shape, signs of rust are noted in trunk area, floors seem very solid. Paint looks good, and looks amazing especially in the direct sunlight as well as shaded areas. Everything works fine as far as, all lights, signals, wipers, interior lights, stereo, etc. Car is not perfect but is a great driver and has tons of potential to be that perfect car. We are open to serious potential buyers to view the car in person as well. This is a True American classic that runs great, and looks amazing!!!
