Description

This has been a one family car since new; the grandfather bought this car new in 66, it was passed down to his daughter and then to the previous owner a few years ago. It was his only car and it was driven every day - very reliable. It is all numbers matching original everything except for the radio and the brand new convertible top. Equipped with the original 389ci engine and TH400 transmission, the engine was upgraded from the original 2bbl carb and intake to an Edelbrock intake and Street Demon 4bbl carb, we also added a small Comp cam with matching valve springs and new timing chain as well as a new water pump, fuel pump, starter and alternator and added some aluminum Pontiac valve covers. We also upgraded the ignition from the factory points to a Pertronix electronic setup. Fresh head gaskets as well as new pushrods and roller rockers. The car runs fantastic, it just turned 100k a few weeks ago. Its got the factory 3.08 POSI rear axle so it drives great on the highway, its been driven to New Jersey, Fla, etc. with no problems ever. The car has factory power drum brakes, power steering, and power top. The brakes have a new master cylinder and all 4 wheel cylinders and it also has all new shoes and hardware; basically a complete 4 wheel brake job. I've got a complete suspension rebuild kit that goes with the car that has all the steering components; tie rods, ball joints, all the bushings as well as 4 shocks. I also have a complete new frame that goes with the car, that has been blasted and painted. I was going to put it under the car due to a portion of the factory frame being rotted out at the front right torque box; being a conv. the frame is fully boxed so the rot hole doesn't really effect anything at this point, but I came across a perfect frame cheap so I grabbed it. All lights and gauges function as they should, the top works perfectly, and the car gets tons of looks wherever I go. I've also got the factory fender skirts and convertible top boot that snaps over the top well when its down for a cleaner look.
Also forgot that we reupholstered the front split bench seat.
We have put a ton of time and money into this car and hate to sell it, but we have more important things that need our attention and we don't want to see the car sit, so it's time to let it go to someone who will appreciate and enjoy it as much as the family has.

THERE IS NO TITLE FOR THIS CAR, IT IS BILL OF SALE ONLY AS GA DOESN'T REQUIRE TITLES FOR CARS OLDER THAN 1985.
