Up for auction is a 1984 Trans Am Convertible with 11,800 original miles. Vehicle is a true barn find. Pontiac only sent 500 of these Trans Am out to become convertibles.
Vehicle is equipped with a 305 4 barrel (HO), automatic 4 speed transmission, limited slip rear,
power steering, power windows, air conditioning, cruise control, tilt wheel, power top, power trunk, lamp group, am/fm cassette, special performance package, aero package, luggage compartment trim, luxury trim group, hood applique, side molding with stripe. Total cost of the car new was $ 21,107.50. Vehicle was purchased new from Zalinger Buick-Pontiac in Middletown, NY.
Vehicle is in very good original condition. The body panels are solid and car retains 95% of its original red paint which retains a very nice luster.. The trunk was repaint 6 months ago. The car is straight and paint and stripes are in very good condition. Some of the paint is peeling on the inner fenders.
The interior is in exceptional overall condition. Interior does have a slight odor from being closed up for a long period of time. The original top is flawless and appears as new.
Undercarriage is solid but has surface rust from long term storage.
Vehicle runs and drives extremely well and can be driven any distance with confidence. All power options work properly with the exception of the air conditioning which need a charge.
Vehicle retains original option list from dealer.
