1969 PONTIAC GTO CALIFORNIA GOLD!!! This fine GM Pontiac GTO was built in San Jose,Ca. in 1969 and stayed it's entire life in California until about five years ago when I had it shipped to Michigan. Every spring this car has always started and runs like a top with it's original 400cc big block. Four barrel carb was rebuilt when I got it and I had new ceramic coated headers installed. The PMD wheels are original and I put the radial TA's on and they still look new. The car has a sweet tiger growl and the cam was upgraded with a distinctive thump noticeable as it idles. I'm not sure on actual mileage but the 39k miles (could be 139k???) is what is showing and the car was stored on display in a private collection in Ca. and does work as do all other gauges.The car shifts smooth as it should and the motor is so strong that you may never use all it has as just a little pressure on the accelerator and you are at 50 mph. Power steering with power brakes and disc brakes up front are all original and stop excellent, This car came with cruise control from the factory but I have not used it. I also have the original exhaust manifolds and the air conditioner compressor unit with bracket which I will include. All lights along with the hide away headlights work. The original gold paint is intentionally still on the lower inner front fenders in the engine compartment and this car has it's original metal and factory tinted SafT-Ray glass throughout. The glass was removed when it had it's one repaint years ago before I got it and looks near perfect. I have never seen rust or paint bubbles so you know it was done right. The interior is also near perfect with shoulder seat belts, no tears or holes, original floor mats and new wooden PMD steering wheel. Weatherstripping is excellent and there is an Alpine CD stereo in the glove box. The JUDGE decals give this beautiful GTO an exceptional look. I will also include the rest of the Ram Air hood tray ect, as I could not find myself cutting into the original hood. I do not have to sell so good luck and enjoy.
