Selling our 1965 Pontiac Convertible. It is a Tempest Custom Model.
326 Engine - Runs smooth.
White Top
Power steering
Power Brakes.
Carb has a hot air choke. Starts easy.
This car is mostly original. It has had a repaint years ago. The paint looks good in the pic's. Nice 5 footer. Excellent 10 footer. Not show paint. It's starting to show its age. Body is very good.
No rust. Frame is solid. At one point the left rear trunk pan was repaired. So was the right rear fender.
A little surface rust underneath. No rot. No surgery required. Very solid car.
I believe the top and the interior are original. There is a small split on the seat on passenger side front. Color is two tone. Comes with a boot.
4 new shocks.
New Rear Springs. Sits level.
New rear brakes. New master as well.
Went thru rear, all good. New Fluid. 3.08 or 3.23 rear. Gas gear for sure. Posi.
New Rear wheel bearings and seals.
New go faster chrome diff pan.
Not a GTO, not trying to be.
Glass is very good.
New rear brake light lenses.
Buy it now gets a new chrome turn signal lever. Never installed. Horn does not work.
Original steering wheel. Has two cracks. But feels and looks good.
New side view mirror.
New front 326 emblems to scare the ricers.
Runs cool. New Shroud, Clutch fan set up.
Fontain Blue, we believe was the name.
Top goes up and down fine. Never really use it though. Winter storage only. Needs a cleaning.
New Blue Carpet.
I am willing to help with shipping. However, I work. So nights and weekends only. I dont care how impatient the transport driver is on a Thursday afternoon. No exceptions.
