Pontiac Grand Prix LE 84 Running Project

Description

It's not a shell and it's not for parts only...unless you want it to be. It runs...it drives...it needs a gasket...it needs cosmetic work...its a project.

The Story ::
The vehicle had the cam shaft, lifters, push rods, spark plugs, fuel pump, manifold intake gasket and seals, oil pan seal, timing chain, thermostat, water pump all replaced. It was thought that the old head gaskets were in good condition...wrong. Sooo, when it came time to break the cam shaft in the vehicle ran great. I was able to put a little over 500 miles on it. Then it started drinking water...over heating etc.. That's when the thermostat was changed. Well it continue to do so with me noticing additional signs of what the issue was pointing to. This is what it is doing that lets me know it's the gaskets ::

Heavy white smoke
Milky oil
Over heating
drinking water
Coolant keeps going bye bye (I'm sure due to over heating)
This is a great car. Unfortunately...a step was missed and needs to be corrected in order to run efficiently.
