1948 Silver Streak 8
Description
1948 Silver Streak Inline V-8 Sedan with 025,787 miles on the odometer. The current owner bought it 15 years ago and said it drove at that time. The interior seats are in decent shape. The carpet will need to be replaced since it is faded on the floorboard and the doors. The back bumper is missing. The Silver Streak emblem will need to be replaced on the left side since it has partially broken off. I think that this car may have had a radio but it has been removed. Has some areas where rust has eaten through the metal and there is a dent on the right passenger door. I did find the molding that goes over the trunkand also some other parts which go near the latch (and I placed them on the ground behind the car). However, since the engine has original low miles (if that is correct), the dashboard is in decent shape and the seats are ok (as well as the doors for the most part), I think that this car will make a good restoration project. We have a South Carolina Title for it. I am helping a guy sell some of his cars that he has collected over the years so that he can find them good homes. I am offering the car at a very reasonable price for someone. Cash would be ok on this deal when you come to pick up the car. We'll just have to move a couple of vehicles in order for you to be able to get to the car, but we have what is needed to do so on site. PayPal is available if you must use it, though. I am willing to help coordinate the pick up of the car with the buyer. My name is John and may be reached at (706) 829-5276.
