1977 Trans Am Y81 Special Edition
Description
1977 Pontiac Trans Am Y81 Special Edition. Very Rare. One of 549 Y81 W72's Bandit Trans Am's made in 1977 without T-Tops.
Car was owned by the same family for 20 + years before I purchased the car. I believe that I am the 3rd owner of the car. This car does not run and will need full restoration. When I bought the car I also received the 400 Engine Block which was supposed to be #'s matching. Car is missing transmission. Can provide a good automatic date correct tranny for an extra cost. The car is an AC, Cruise, and 8 track optioned car. See PHS. These cars are sky rocketing in price and this car is easily a $50K - $60K car finished. These cars are a lot more rare than the Y82's and the true collectors have already started buying up these Y81's because of the limited SPECIAL EDITION BANDIT production numbers. The car is solid with only surface rust in the normal places. The car has been in Georgia for the last 30 years and has been sitting under a shed for the last 20 + years. Both of the front fenders are solid, drivers door is good, passenger door has surface rust(no holes), drivers qt is ok, passenger qt is good(no holes). Both front floor pans are pretty solid, and the back floors seem to be ok as well, trunk pans also are ok, and there is surface rust around the back glass which is normal. I have tried to take as many detailed pictures as I could. Underneath the car is pretty solid with very little rust, mostly surface. The interior is mostly all there, all will need to be replaced, recovered etc. Georgia is a non title state for cars 1986 and back, so the car will come with a bill of sale only. All 50 states will except a bill of sale for your registration coming from Georgia. (Call your DMV) I will assist with shipping and will be glad to answer any questions about the car. I have a buy it now price if you are interested. Also please do not low ball me or waste my time with ridiculous offers because I know what I have and what it's worth. All inspections, wife asking, money borrowing, and researching must be completed within 24hrs of the auction closing. I have tried to be as honest about the car as I can, please feel free to email or call me with any questions or concerns you may have.
Thanks
