1968 Porsche 911 911T Targa

Description

This 1968 Porsche 911T is in driving condition some of the great features of this 911T is that it came with a factory glass rear window which only a handful were done the last year of the short wheel base 911T, the glass rear window became standard in 1969. I have the certificate of authenticity to prove this with the valid VIN. The engine of this car was rebuilt by a local Porsche/German expert builder in our area when the speedo was at 16875 witch is less than 2000 miles ago, invoice available for reference. The front and rear suspension was completely overhauled a couple years ago as well. The car runs great except for about 5000 RPM, the vacuum advance does not advance the timing due to the distributor timing advance not working, also the carbs have a faint leak, which can easily be rebuilt. The paint looks original however after expert inspections showed signs that the front left fender and door have been painted the original color, which matches the rest of the car. Alloy wheels are in excellent condition, Interior is flawless and was reupholstered not long ago. no real problems of rust it is a California car, brake lines are starting to show some age. previous owner replaced emblems with 911(s) ones, have no idea why other than cool factor, this can easily be replaced. This car has been stored in a garage and is currently at a shop. I have the pink in hand ready to do transfer. Reserve is set significantly below market value for a car of this caliber. And please no more promises to buy to cancel the auction and then last minute try and low ball me.
