The US 911T Targa was the most rare of all 911’s built in 1973
We found this 1973 Porsche 911T here in the Pacific Northwest, it had been in dry storage since 1994.
The gentleman had inherited the car from his father and realized he couldn’t give the car what it needed.
There is very little rust in the car as it has been indoors and the batteries were removed when it was stored. I can’t remember the last time we found one of these that didn’t need a front pan.
The gas tank was drained, and there has been oil put down the cylinders every few months since 1994.
The motor turns over freely and has compression.
We hooked up a battery and the motor cranked and the gauges came to life.
The very small amount of anything but surface rust is limited to behind the doors, just below the rear window. It’s shown clearly in the photographs.
We have made every effort to photograph every bit of this car, please make sure to look through them all; there are 135 images all together.
This car is an excellent candidate for a complete restoration or make it a driver and enjoy the patina!
The car is for sale locally as well, inspections are welcome, PRIOR to the end of auction.
Feel free to call or email with any questions.
We are happy to assist with shipping, nationally and internationally.
