1984 Porsche 928s
Description
1984 Porsche 928s, just completed mechanical restoration with over $15,000 invested. Runs and drives excellent with too many new parts to list. Some highlights; Brand New Borla Exhaust, Magnaflow Catalytic Converter, Michelin Pilot (4) Exalto Tires, Hoses, Belts, Water Pump & Timing Belt, Wiring Harness and the list goes on. Extensive A/C work and the A/C works excellent. All work performed by a Factory Trained Porsche Mechanic with over 30 years experience. The paint and interior are driver quality with normal wear, tear and visible flaws which are to be expected in a 33 year old vehicle. The paint appears to be mostly original with some areas that have been touched up along the way. The original All Leather interior is in surprisingly good condition and the seats are still very comfortable. The hardest and most expensive (mechanical) work is done so you can drive it to any high end paint or upholstery shop to make this a near perfect show car. Drive it across town or across country .The vehicle comes with all receipts for recent work and new parts, Original Window Sticker, owners manual and maintenance manual, some original delivery documents and miscellaneous receipts that were in the car when I purchased it. Original Inflatable Spare Tire and Original Porsche Tool Kit, Clear Florida Title and a Clean Carfax Report which shows only one minor accident in 33 years on the road.
The 928s was Porsches Flagship Luxury Touring Sedan in 1984. Base MSRP was $44,000, and this Highly Optioned Example came in at a whopping $51,000. Porsche manufactured a Grand Total of 3007, 928 Models for US & Canada in 1984, which includes both S and standard models. Porsche did not track models by paint codes and options. A highly optioned 928s in this color combination was most likely 1 of less than 300 with identical paint and trim codes. How many of those are still out there; your guess is as good as mine. I can tell you according to a recent "Hagerty " article, this car has more than doubled in value over the last 18 months, and unlike other Porsches which appeared to have topped out, the 928 values are predicted to continue that upward trend. Sold "AS IS" "WHERE IS" with no warranty. Inspections are welcome. Shipping is responsibility of buyer and vehicle will not be released until all funds received and verified by cash, certified check or wire transfer.
