For those of you who thought a decent, solid, matching, driving 356 was out of your reach, well here’s your chance for a bargain.

This is a patina type driver level car. IMO you can get in the day it arrives and drive to cars & coffee or use as a daily driver. Comes with a folder of older documentation including: original owner’s manual, gas log book records, original Invoice, letters to regarding the order and purchase and other history. Original Kardex & CofA also.

Tools. Jack. Headrest. Seat belts. Ignition key also unlocks both doors. Glove box & trans lock are orig keys. Blaupunkt Radio plays great through original speakers & grills. Paint is old, color faded, mismatched in spots and worn, just solid driver quality imo. There are chips, scuffs, cracks and checking in paint and small dents and faults maybe not seen in all pics, but still takes a good shine. The car is structurally very sound but L rocker should be replaced if you plan to redo it. A few minor rust blems, as would be expected. The hood is perfect, no kinks, no bends ever. Even gaps everywhere else. Very original, decent still interior, except for driver seat with split seams & rear seattops. Very nice horn button, hood handle crest, & dash. New front shocks and exc rear shocks, Koni steering damper, kingpins, linkpins, tie rod ends, suspension/axle rubbers front and rear, new trans mounts front and rear. Vredestein tires; plenty of tread. Nice og C hubcaps. Four date matching rims, 6/64, Lemmerz; Michelin spare w/ 4.5 Lemmerz. New fuel cock just installed. Six volt.Starts right up and drives and stops and tracks as a 356 does. Has the nice "thunk" when you close doors. Cool Amco aftermarket luggage rack, modified to actually carry things securely.
