68 Porsche 912 coupe. This car has been sympathetically preserved and maintained.

It comes with the Porsche Factory Certificate Of Authenticity and we are able to ascertain that it has its original engine and original trans.

Slate Gray# 6801/Black Vinyl. The car was repainted at one time. The paint is now worn off the hood and top of the left fender where it was polished thru. It is time for another repaint. I do NOT see any evidence of body repairs or previous accident damage. The body is solid. The only rust repair that I found is under the pedal cluster. See photos of car when up on our lift.

1600 cc 4 cylinder, 5 Speed Trans. The engine no longer has an air pump or emissions plumbing. The engine was rebuilt in 1981 and the top end was done again in 1989.

It has a clear Pennsylvania title with verified 65,189 miles when he bought it in 2010. It has Currently has 79,585 on the odometer.

The car was sold new by Pray Automobile Corp, 212 Putnam Ave, Greenwich, CT. It was serviced from new at Lawrence Motors Inc, Ramsey NJ according to the original factory Service Maintenance Booklet. The first owner was a pilot in the Air Force and was transferred around the U.S. We have records that the car was shipped to AZ and spent time there. So it spent much of its life in Southwestern U.S. We have a copy of the Air Force form DD 619 to transport the car from Redbank, N.J. to Chandler, Arizona. It later returned to New Jersey and now Pennsylvania.

The current owner bought the car in May 2010 and is also a pilot who worked for the FAA and has serviced the car and maintained to aircraft standards. There is a thick file of receipts and records.

This car is a great driver. The engine pulls strong. The transaxle shifts as it should. The overall condition, except paint, is outstanding. I would be able to get in this car and drive to California.

Plan to pick up the car at 51 Main Street, Ono PA. We are 15 miles Northeast of Hershey PA near the junction if I 81 and I 78. We are three hours West of Manhattan.
