1968 Porsche 911 Coupe 911E engine

Description

Car has been sitting for a long time in dry heated storage. Car will need total restoration. Engine is a 1968/1969 911E. I do not know if engine is original to car but has fuel injection system. Engine does not turn over. Engine number is * 6291489* This Karmann Porsche has a lot of potential for someone with experience.
VIN is 11835106
Do not know how many miles on engine.
Colors are polo red with tan interior.
Glass is all there. Dash pad will need work. Seats are in great shape for their age. Seat belts in tact.
I will try and describe the sheet metal as thorough as I can. The floor pans will need work. The driver side rear floor has rusted out, don't be fooled by the carpet, there is a hole to the ground behind the drivers seat. The front floor pans are not that bad, no holes. They have spot patches as shown.
The rockers and jack post lift areas are more solid than I originally thought. See photos for yourself.
Car will require some structural remediation at torsion bar areas.
Doors in decent shape, including bottoms, the striker latch areas very strong, door hinge areas very nice. The doors open and shut without a problem.
Front bonnet area is not bad at all but will need work at lower tow hook area. Battery area is solid.
The Fuchs wheels are nice, tires will have to be replaced. Cars rolls nicely to move around.
Don't know anything about the transmission as it has not run during my ownership.
I have too many projects and testing the market with the auction of this car. I am not giving it away as it has potential.
