1964 Porsche SC Cabriolet
Description
One of the finest SC Cabriolet’s in the country. In 2006 the car was shown at the Porsche 356 Club meet in Dana Point, California and received a score of 288.1 points out of 300 possible. This enabled the car to finish third in its class even though it was driven about 300 miles that weekend. Subsequently the cosmetics in the engine compartment were addressed by Larry Markham of Markham Motors and brought up to the finest concours standards. After that the car was shown again at Dana Point and took a first place trophy in class. Today the car would score in the 296 to 297 point range. It is Signal Red with a black leather interior and a black top. The interior is in exceptional condition and is radio delete. The gauges are all original and function correctly including the clock. All of the colors, materials and numbers match the Porsche Certificate of Authenticity. A complete and correct set of tools and books accompany the car. Vredestein Radial tires have also been installed on the correct original painted wheels. With only 8k miles on the clock since restoration this car drives like a 356 should.
