I purchased the car from European Imports in PA July of 2016. Previous owner was a long term client of European Imports where I bought it from. (I have records back to 2001 @ 76K miles). Creative Color Studio vinyl wrapped the car in Nov of 2016. All new exterior rubber gaskets, seals (minuswindow molding) and new hood emblem were replaced at the same time. This spring I noticed an oil leak - ended up being theoil pan gasketwhich I had replaced. Car now has no oil leaks, which is very rare for an older Porsche! A fullsynthetic oilchange was preformed at the same time. May of this year I installed a black interior out of a1991 S2 944. I purchased the interior from Plyhammer's Parts. Car's interior was gutted down to just the dashboard. (Original grey interior parts and Porsche front bra also included.) Car runs and drives great! AC isice cold. Stereo is a bit older, but CD and radio work great. Everything works great except the passengers door (only from the outside) doesn't work. This stopped working recently. It does work from opening from the inside of the car, and I typically drive the car solo so haven't looked into it. Couple other things, the dashboard has the classic cracking, shift knob is a bit worn too. Car also comes with original 968 owners manual and 3 sets of keys. One key is brand new that has the working LED light when you push the button. The car is 25 years old. The exterior as you can see from the photos is in good condition, but there are a couple blemishes on the car and a couple spots the clear coat was tired. There were also 3 dings on the hood that needed to be addressed. The hood blemishes andclear coat peelingon the rear bumper could be seen even with a vinyl wrap job. So I had those spots sanded, repaired and primed before having the car wrapped. I didn't have those two areas re-sprayed the original Slate Grey as I was wrapping it.The vinyl not only makes the car look new on the outside, but it also protects the paint underneath it.Creative Color in Minneapolis, MN wrapped the car. They are a 3M certified shop. They've been doing wraps for 10+ years and have an extensive and impressiveportfolio. The vinyl wrap can easily be removed, would take 2-4 hours. The original interior is also included so the car could be brought back to stock if the new owner ever wanted. This is a driver's car that looks and drives great! This is a well maintained 968 with the expensive services already done. The wrap job and black interior make this car look like it's almost new. The car is very rare being a 968, especially in a coupe and 6-speed. It's a total hoot to drive and gets alot of attention everywhere I go. This fun 968 just needs a new loving home.
I have MANY more photos (including pics before the car was wrapped and under body photos, PDF of all the maintenance records I have for it.) Ebay limited me on how many photos I could post. Please contact me and I can send many more photos if you're interested. *Selling as I've purchased my next car project. Not enough room to keep both.
