Immaculate Porsche 944 S2 Convertible

Up for your consideration is a 1990 Porsche 944 S2 Cabriolet. This car has been in my family for the 27 years. I purchased the car from my father-in-law about three years ago. While the car has been reliable and fun to drive, I need a more practical all season ride.

BACKGROUND

• Car has been in the same family for nearly 30 years

• Mileage is 117,450 or just over 4,000 per year

• Car is nearly stock in every sense, with the exception of a new Pioneer head unit with bluetooth

SERVICE PERFORMED WITHIN THE LAST 12 MONTHS

• Leather wheel in burgundy leather from Dallas Steering Wheel in TX ($550)

• New leather shifter and boot (original steering wheel also included)

• Mobil 1 oil and Mahle filters replaced at 7.500 intervals

• Replaced timing belt, belt tensioner and roller

• Replaced leaking PS reservoir and seeping high pressure hose

• Removed and rebuilt Passenger Side Rear CV Boot Kit

• Tune Up to include OEM spark plugs, cap, rotor, air and fuel filter and a set of Kingsborne High Performance Ignition Wires

• (4) new Continental tires

  
  

  This car has been pampered in every sense. The pictures tell the story. The paint is nearly flawless. I have been detailing cars for the last 30 years (as part of my mental health maintenance plan) and the reflection and condition of the paint is an 9/10. Always hand washed and Menzerna products applied with a Flex orbital buffer.

  
  

  There is one spot behind the passenger side wheel well that needs some attention (shown in pics) - but overall it’s in amazing condition for a nearly 30 year old classic.

  
  

  IMPERFECTIONS

  • Minor wear marks on the top that I have patched to improve appearance; Scotch Guard has been applied each season to avoid standing water on the top. Plastic window is in good shape.

  • A/C is not working - never had it diagnosed; I drive with the top down.

  • Clean MA title in-hand; MA inspection valid through September 2018

  • All books and records included; in addition to the spare tire, jack, tool kit and Porsche Tire Inflator
