1980 Porsche 924 Turbo 931 5 speed - Classic Sports Coupe

Description

Up for bid is a 1980 Porsche 924 Turbo in original condition. I have been working on it for over a year, but do not have the time or knowledge to get it to the condition I would like. It does not currently run, but cranks and has spark, fuel and air. There are no modifications evident. This car was purchased by the grandson of the original owner and has a clean Washington State title. It has 60,xxx original miles, and was thought to run when I purchased it. I have replaced many parts including: Fuel pump, fuel filter, spark plugs, spark plug wires, air filter, fuel pump relay, one fuel injection line. I have many new replacement parts that I have yet to install such as: Timing belt and pulley, headlights, batter cable, misc. suspension parts, etc.
This car is being sold as-is with local pickup only and I only accept PayPal for payment for the $1000 deposit, and cash for the remaining amount upon pickup. This is an awesome and rare Porsche that is going up in value daily. It has the original Porsche instruction/maintenance books, original tool roll and the original spare tire. It also comes with a black front bra that was mounted in the past and a brown sunroof case.
Be aware this is a project, the apolstery needs attention as well as the engine. On the bright side, this model was fully galvanized so there is virtually no rust. There is some paint damage on the front passenger fender and some dents to the front lower valance, both repairable. The sunroof needs a new seal and there is some surface rust under the car, normal for the age, does not affect performance.

Handling time is within 2 business days, not including Weekends, Holidays, USPS Postal Office closures. The majority of our items ship using US Priority mail or USPS Standard Post and are shipped within 48hrs of a cleared payment.
If this is a free shipping auction (please check each items description above), the item will be shipped USPS Standard Post or Media mail depending on contents. Other shipping options will be at the expense of the buyer.
We try to recycle/reuse as much material as possible, therefore, some packing materials may be pre-used.
