The car was then wet sanded and polished to a mirror-like “show car finish” at a cost of $5,435 The Merlot paint color is, in fact, the OEM finish offered in 1957 Speedsters. New exhaust, carpet, trim, emblems and suspension components. The engine and been rework and run like a dream.

I had some great questions, here is a summaryof some of those questions.
Someone pointed out that the front hood was not fully closed. Yes, the hood closes flush to the body, in fact,all the shut lines were "dialed in"when the body was block sanded. Also, the car sits on a heavy box frameconstruction and has no rust anywhere. This is not a DYI garage build
