Description
A 1962 Porsche 356B project car, original colors were Slate Grey with light Grey interior. Colors verified by the original Porsche Kardex which also confirms the original owner, Mr. Heinz Zegke of Spokane,WA. This is a very restorable and solid 356 coupe in a desirable color. The car has recently had a new floor added by an expert 356 restorer, which included new pans correctly spot welded in place with new toe board mounts, new seat mounts, both longitudinals new and new jack spurs. The body is quite straight and solid and the correct style power sunroof has been added by a previous owner. The 6V electric sunroof motor is missing, a similar 12V motor is included with the car. The complete seat assemblies in the original color leatherette are present as are the instruments, original Blaupunkt Frankfurt radio and other interior appointments. This 356 comes with a completely rebuilt 1600S 616/2 engine, #88912,done by a quality builder in Phoenix and not run since. This 1600S engine is dated just a bit earlier than the original 1600S 616/12 that this car was born with and is cosmetically quite nice and well detailed. It has been installed in the car for this sale but has not been hooked up.Please ask questions, car is available for viewing and pickup in TX, pleas contact me with any questions, thank you
