1991 Porsche 911 Cabriolet 993 wide body conversion
Description
I'm a Collector and this is one of my favorites sadly I hate to let it go, but here it is, it started as a 1991 Porsche (964) Cabriolet, tiptronic or automatic transmission, 126K original miles, a little history of the car, I bought this car from a Gentleman in VA with a rebuilt title, I had the car inspected when I first got it, as you know IL is one of the toughest states when it comes to title registration esp. with rebuilt title, IL DMV is very strict, they have to meticulously inspected it before issuing the title. The car was originally from CA, it was first reported with rebuilt/salvage title in 2000 due to theft, and accident damage, that's when the owner at that time converted the narrow body 964 into a very expensive 993 conversion using steel wide body flares, front and rear 993 bumper upgrades, whale tail and complete 993 lights. The conversion costs at least over $20K, I have owned this car since early 2015 and really love it, took it to car shows, cars and coffee meets, and Saturday or Sunday drives.
The convertible top, convertible frame(very expensive special order from Germany) and motors were replaced by Fischers Motors in Barrington, IL, they specialize on all German cars but mostly race Porsches also regularly serviced, oil change and tune up, Carbon fiber look dash board, new aftermarket stereo, new complete brake cross drilled/slotted rotors and pads, new rear shocks, new tires with premium alloy wheels, everything works, air conditioning is still cold, this is a really nice car and you won't be disappointed. Clear IL Title.....
