Description

You are bidding on a very desirable, Euro 300hp 1982 928S – a sunroof delete car. While US models featured a rather sluggish 247hp engine, the European cars had the ultra-strong 300/310hp engine depending on the ratings. This has the original, very strong M28/12 Type engine, a 4.7 liter with 300/310 hp.

The car's VIN # is:WP0ZZZ92ZCS840538 Carfax / AutoCheck reports are clean with no issues.

The car features updated and staggered aftermarket wheels like the later 928GTSs with almost new (9/32) Sumitomo HTR 225-45R17 (front) and 255-40R17 (rear) tires. It also features fresh upgraded brakes as can be seen and the car was just serviced. The car is an absolute pleasure to drive and it looks fantastic. The Euro engine with lots and lots of torque and over 300hp is very strong, yet relaxing to drive.

The car is an excellent driver. It has been repainted many years ago and shows well with some blemishes as shown. Also the interior had been refurbished at one point and is in very decent shape. The seats look wonderful and it does have some cracks and pulling on the dash as shown. The car has no stereo, with an engine sounding that good you don’t want to be distracted by a radio.

Porsche 928S have started to exponentially grow in value, especially the Euro cars like this one and the later models. This car will be an excellent investment while it can be enjoyed very much, one of the best driving 928Ss we have serviced. The oil and filters are fresh, everything such as ignition components seem current.

Being a Euro car, it also features the side marker lights and the much brighter and desirable, larger flip-up headlights, plus the four built in Euro fog/driving lights.

Please look at all of the photos, we always take a lot of them to properly represent the car. Even most of the tools are there.

If the car sells in the State of Pennsylvania, we can include the annual State inspection free of charge once it will be registered so it will be current. The car runs and handles strong as it should. The air conditioning is not blowing cold, it will probably need to be recharged and we have not performed an A/C service at this point.

For the winning bidder a deposit of $1,000 is due within 24 hours after close of the auction, the remainder is due within 7 days of close of the auction. The buyer is responsible for pickup or shipping, even we can try to assist in finding transportation as well as international shipping.
