Time to sell my mostly mechanically restored Porsche!
Since moving I no longer have anywhere to keep the car undercover and hate to see it sitting out in the sun. Restoring a house has taken priority and I would love to see someone carry on with what I've started and almost finished...It really is a great car and a head turner.
Since buying the car in 2008 I have put around $10,500 into parts and repairs. $6,300 of that over the last two years. This includes:
New radiator, cooling fan, spark plugs and wires. Water pump, fuel pump, timing belt, injector regulator, rebuilt injectors, All belts and hoses.
Prior to the above... The front end (control arms, ball joints etc) were replaced.
I have all receipts documenting the work that has been done and I also have the CarFax report from 2008 which goes back to 1991. Nothing to add to it since.
Car drives and sounds great!.... Super cold AC

Now for the jobs that still need attention:
Will need new paint as the clear coat is now peeling thanks to the Florida sun.
The back hatchback top black trim piece is missing and it has a leak which I have yet to pin point.
Headliner needs some work as you can see in photo.
Also, I need to add that the odometer may have rolled over meaning it has more than 99,999 miles according to the CarFax report. If that is true it has 174,000 true miles.
It's been a Florida car all it's life.
