*Impeccably restored by 356 experts. *A One of One Special Order The Internet Movie Car Database website, IMCDB, has 22 pages of pictures of Porsche 365s used in movies or TV series. A 356 emphasizes the statement the director is making which is usually class, sporty or out of the box. Our 356 cabriolet is a 356 B (T5) 1600 Super. The cabriolet was the most luxurious of the open top 356s, and the "Super" engine was high performance offering... with a higher compression and performance carburetors. This car was a special order variant, the only one built in ruby red, with grey leather, and grey convertible top. The car has matching number engine, transmission, wheels, et al. It has been comprehensively restored by top facilities with no detail overlooked. The engine was just rebuilt, with balanced crank, connecting rods, and pistons. The painted parts were powder coated and all the original hardware was reused after replating. The car was assembled and sorted by George Nelson - the amazing 356 whisperer! There are over 1,000 pictures of the restoration, The chrome was done, the rubber was done, the carpets were replaced with proper carpets, and all leather was replaced with new grey leather. The top was replaced. The top frame was restored and reassembled on a special 356 cabriolet top frame jig. The car is "as new" right down to the factory tar insulation and pristine wiring harness. Whether it be a washer, cable or bolt, everything is right. This cab was loved by its prior owner who passed along his journal listing events including every tank of gas. It you're looking the best 356 cab, you've found it.
