Description

Welcome. You are bidding on a 1985 Porsche 911 3.2 Carrera. This car has been well cared for and I have a huge folder of all the service records on it. Please take a look at the additional 100 or so pictures I have added in a photo album. I can help arrange out of state shipping if needed.

History: This car has been a California car for many years. It was serviced regularly and quite a bit of money has been spent on the engine/transmission when the car hit 200,000 miles. This car spent some most of its time in California, then it spent time in Canada and Arizona(where the snow birds brought it). It now is in California and comes with Canada Vehicle transferable registration as well as all of the import documents.

This car was going to be a back date project however it has been stalled. The car is missing its front and rear bumpers, headlights and rear tail light buckets.

Exterior: This car has never been in an accident or has had any rust. It is a solid rust free and accident free chassis. This car started life as a Targa, and then was converted by the previous owner. The owner put on Cabriolet front doors during this conversion(the reason they are painted a different color). A rear spoiler has been added as well. The driver side door does not open from the inside. The convertible top is in very nice shape and the back plastic window is clear and is not brittle.

Engine/Transmission: This car starts right up and makes good power. The transmission was rebuilt about 40,000 miles ago and shifts smoothly between the gears. I have the service records for this rebuild. This car would be able to drive on and off of a transport truck.

Overall: This car would be a great car to backdate or return the original bumpers and lights to it and drive. There are LOTS of spare parts that come with this car and I have packed them all inside the car for easy transport.
