Description

1969 Porsche 911 RSR tribute restoration project. This car was constructed and painted as you see it in the mid 80's. Although the paint looks great in the pictures it does have bubbles starting to show through here and there. It looks like it has had replacement floor pan sections in a couple spots done over the years and some rust in toe board area. The full floor pan from front to back cost 1,800 and would be a great investment to this car. There is a approximately2"x 4" dent in the hood. It has steel body flares and nothing has been changed or added to this car in over 25 years right down to the CB radio it has had for 40 years. This car was well known back in the day and its handle was "mighty mouse" The engine was professionally built by Eibell performance and has less than 30k on it, running the stronger 915 trans. Engine is equipped with recently rebuilt safety wired pair of Weber 46 IDA's, if you are unfamiliar with these please search them on e bay to get a idea of what the Weber's cost by themselves. It has a roll bar, vintage pyrotech racing harnesses, 200 mph speedo, koolair conditioning system that was dealer installed. It recently came out of a 20 year storage. All that was done thus far was fresh fluids, cleaned out fuel system and it started right up. The engine has a nice deep sound, no weird noises at all. It does smoke a little after sitting for a while but does clear up when it gets to operating temperature. Does not leak a drop no matter how long it sits. Engine has lots of power, pulls hard, light touch of the throttle and it revs to 5k in the blink of an eye. Spare tire is a "big tank" bf good rich dated 1973, leather tool rolls included. There are a couple boxes of parts like extra turn signal/parking light lenses, tail light housing and lenses, misc knobs and crank handles, even the original paper work for the CB, several Porschemanuals along with Weber instructions, extra air cleaner base pair. I know I am forgetting a few items but its all included with the purchase. Windows roll up and down nice, doors open and close smooth. Thanks for looking!
