1977 Porsche 911S No sunroof SC upgrades
Description
I’m selling a 1977 911S.
Original engine and transmission.
155k miles
No sunroof.
Original color, guards red.
The body has been enhanced with steel 911Sc flares.
The paint and body is in nice condition. No rust, or accidents. Its a very nice driver quality.
Mechanically solid, engine has been rebuilt in the past. Runs strong. Transmission shifts good, no grinding.
Upgraded suspension to 911Sc spec.
Larger Sc brakes.
Turbo Fuchs 17x7/8 with new Hankook V2 tires.
Lowered to euro height.
The interior is black and it’s in very good condition. The headliner is perfect, new carpet and nice door cards. The dash does have a couple of typical cracks. I do have a cover over it.
Aftermarket radio head unit, sounds great.
The engine runs good. It does have the must have hydraulic Carrera chain tensioner upgrade.
Pop up valve upgrade in the air box.
Turbo valve covers.
Upgraded cooling fan.
Additionally the oil cooling system was upgraded with an Sc fender mounted oil cooler. It runs cool, no overheating.
It currently has headers, so no heater.
Recent work within the past month:
- valve cover gaskets replaced
- 2 new rear axles
- oil change, yesterday
- new engine and transmission mounts
- new shifter bushings
- new couple bushing
- new battery
-new S oil line
- new plugs and and ignition wires.
-new sound pad in the engine bay
-new steel braided brake lines
- new clutch cable
- new metal support ring for the steering shaft, no more play.
All the gauges work, including the clock.
The car runs and drives perfect.
Full disclosure, here are some issues:
The engine is a 2.7 liter magnesium case one. It’s nice and dry underneath, but it does leak a couple of drops of oil if it’s parked for a longer period of time.
The paint is nice, but it does have some imperfections here and there.
It could use new rear suspension bushings.
Will need an alignment, as it hasn’t been done since it was lowered. Power windows can be slow at times.
Clean title and registered.
The car is located in Burbank, Ca.
I prefer calls or text messages, Whatsapp or iMessage. I don't check my messages too often here on pelican.
