Description

1957 speedster replica. CMC kit on a 1970 VW Chassis. 1600 dp motor. New plugs Cap rotor wires fuel filter valve adjustment oil change, fuel pump and carburetor
Interior is original and in good shape. Top is in working order ( glue is off middle bow) side windows are in good shape also.
All lights works as they should. All gauges work except oil temp( I will try to hook up) wipers do not work ( not sure of problem). Has Empi shifter that shifts nice and clutch feels good.
Car had been sitting when I bought it so it has new on all four sides. Wheel cylinders, soft brake lines, and brake shoes. Has 4 new tires under 1500 miles.
Lowered on dropped Spindles’s and turned one notch in rear. Rides nice.
Speedster was repainted at some point and shines but does have a few minor blemishes. Door lines, hood and truck lines seem good after viewing other replicas online.
Overall it’s a really nice driving and running replica at a reasonable price.
Car will have a Maine registration and bill of sale or would be happy to apply for a Massachusetts title if needed. Maine doesn’t issue titles on older vehicles. Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions.
