This very straight example of an early 911 T Targa is a Blue Plate California Santa Barbara car.The car has excellent bones and largely void of rust in the crucial integrity points.
The car has extensive records from 16000 miles in 1997 to 83000 miles in 2005.This was the same owner with car being serviced by Continental Motors in Santa Barbara.
The car shows no indication of accident history,the body panels are straight with near perfect factory panel gaps.The car is not a rusty or rust history car having spent its life in Southern California.There are a couple small blisters on the body which I have included in the photo presentation.
The car runs strong and tight.The engine is a numbers matching series,the engine is number 6131007.Transmission is tight with good synchros.The clutch has been replaced.
The targa top is in good condition as is the straight non cracked dash.All gauges are clean and crisp,they work as designed.The seats are in good condition,the carpets reflect the age and mileage of the vehicle.
Tires are deep tread Michelins mounted on nice correct 5 spoke Fuchs.
