1970 Porsche metal wide body
Description
Here is my 1970 Porsche 914 4 cylinder. I believe the 2.0 engine. Please check all of the pictures carefully to see if the motor is 2.0 I don’t know how to tell please check the pictures I provide for the block. However the engine is in pieces and it needs to be fully rebuilt. I got it non running I just stripped out the car from the paint it came with to the bare metal it is right now. There is some rust areas mainly on the floor pan due to the car missing the targa top. Check all pictures carefully please. There is some bad spots on floor pan but nothing on main structure of the car. I can provide specific pictures if you want. The car came with manual transmission which I have and will come with the car. The car came missing several interior parts looks like it used to be raced, I don’t know much history of car I purchased from body shop in Sacramento that deals with vintage German cars. It’s a great project. The wide metal body I believe to be done somewhere back in the 80s Because there is some areas that were brass welded. It looks awesome and in a way has 911 lines. It has 5 lug wheel pattern. I don’t know if the car has 911 suspension or 914 came with 5 lug. That’s why I’m thinking the car was a 2.0 you can see in the inside of the car the car was forest green in it’s original color. I’m selling the car as a project car as it is with no returns, your welcome to come look at it or send a mechanic to look at it. I’m selling the car with a California bill of sale. I never got the title from the person I got the car from, only a bill of sale. It’s a rolling chassis so if you arrange a pick up please know the car will have to be pushed into a trailer or tow truck. I don’t have front and back glass for car or the targa roof . I have 4 boxes of parts for the car that I took off like the headlights, taillight, the das, the engine wire harness . When I took apart the engine the engine was pretty bad. Only one of the pistons had water in it and there is some rust on top of the piston and cylinder head. I’m sure the engine can be rebuilt. The original crank case has never been cracked open. The car had duel Weber carburetors which will come with the car. Please if you have any questions feel free to contact me. I’m moving and that’s why I’m selling the car. Don’t loose the one of a kind 914 really unique like nothing else out there... I can almost promise you that. The car has no reserve price so the starting bid you could own the car. For the deposit there is no returns in case you back up after purchasing the car. I’m moving and it will be a hassle if you back up after purchase.
