1961 Porsche 356 Notchback - Numbers Matching - New Paint Rare Color Combo
Description
1961 Porsche 356 Notchback Coupe. In 1961 Porsche took a cabriolet body and welded on a hardtop (notchback) at the factory. Only a few of these were made, but now very few remain. This car is from my private collection and is the car to own. A spare no expense restoration is almost complete to restore the car to its factory condition. An additional rarity is the factory color combo - Special Order Royal Blue exterior with Red interior. This car was imported by the Hoffman group in the 60's.
No Rust or Accidents
The car has all original date stamped wheels, original gauges, and much more. The car was totally professionally stripped back down to metal. I have complete pictures of this car from start to finish showing the restoration process, body work (lead), and paint booth. I also have pictures of this car as a "barnfind".
This car has the original engine and gearbox. The engine has been completely disassembled and professionally cleaned by a machine shop. The short block is currently being reassembled. New pistons and Cylinders and many other new parts. The original heads were rebuilt by one of the best in the business - Benton Performance. A very spare no expense build.
New red German Square Weave Carpet and most of the original and new red interior included (needs installed).
The car just came out of paint. The gearbox is still installed in the car and rolls freely. The engine will be sold in long block state. Original glass, bumpers and most of the trim included. The car is mostly complete. All of the big items are there, just needs reassembled. The sale price is for the car as is. We can complete the car if negotiated before hand for an additional cost.
