For sale 1955 Porsche 550 Spyder REPLICA Project

This a project car and does NOT have a title. Again this does not have a title but can be registered as replica/home built/or similar in most states. I am not an expert on the 550s so the information is to best of my knowledge but please verify on your own.

There are no additional parts included beyond what is seen in the picures.

The paint is supposed to be a factory Porsche color and was professionally painted. That said, there are chips, scratches and some damage that have occurred since and they will need to be fixed to be really nice.

The brakes appeared to have been plumbed and the steering column loosely mounted (temporary). It does roll and steer. The wheels and tires are junk and good for it as a roller only.

The front part of the frame is supposed to be from an early VW beetle and the back half from a VW Type 4 412. Thecenter sectionsurround the mainarea is custom made box tube.The motor and transmission are also VW 412 and based on the codes I am told is an 1800cc motor. The previous owner said the engine had been rebuilt.

If looking to have it shipped I can certainly tape up the hood and rear section, it will easily roll onto a trailer.

Again this is a replica, a project and I do not have a title (Delaware is very easy to register a "home built" replica so I never worried about this part). You are welcomed to check out in person.
